Bauchi Transition Committee Identifies Priority Areas for Gov Bala Mohammed

The Technical Committee for the Bauchi State 2023 Transition has provided a roadmap for the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed to consolidate on the achievements recorded in it first tenure.
To this end, the committee led by professor Usman Bugaje identified seven priority areas to enhance the performance of relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies towards impacting positively on the lives of people.
Presenting the committee’s report to the Governor at Government House Bauchi, the Chairman Professor Usman Bugaje said exparts in the fields of economic development, infrastructure, education, Health and agriculture were consulted in the course of the committee’s assignment.
Highlighting the committee’s recommendations Professor Bugaje said if property implemented the report would guide the present administration towards fulfilling the promises made during electioneering period noting that governance is a scientific business that requires adequate planning.
While emphasizing the need to constitute an implementation committee, the chairman appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for the confidence reposed in them.
Speaking after receiving the report, Governor Bala Mohammed said with the development his administration would swing into action using the available resources to meet the demands of the citizens.
Bala Mohammed who expressed concern on the challenges being faced in areas education, healthcare services and human capital development expressed confidence that with the report the state government would hit the ground running.
He appreciated them for producing a comprehensive report that would support his effort in moving the state forward.
