BAUCHI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY HAS REJECTED A LETTER FROM THE OF OFFICE OF THE COS

Bauchi State House of Assembly has rejected a message from the office of the Chief of Staff, Government house Bauchi Aminu Hassan Gamawa requesting the house to confirm Mr. Isyaku Yankari as the State Auditor General.
The letter read on the floor of the house by the Majority Leader Saleh Hodi Jibir during plenary presided over by the speaker Abubakar Suleman.
Debating on the letter, the Lawmakers said the letter is supposed to be signed and forwarded by the Secretary to the State Government not the Chief of staff, adding that the Chief of Staff should supposed to sign the letter on behalf of the SSG or stand for.
Still during the plenary, the house appealed for the construction of a thirteen kilometre road that links Guma, Yelwan Duguri and Burga Village of Alkaleri local government.
This squeal to a motion sponsored by a member representing Pali Constituency of Alkaleri local government, Garba Aminu noted that the communities in the area were exacerbated by poor road connections hence the need for the construction of the road to reshaping the economic architecture of people in the area.
The house adjourned it’s sittings to 24th August 2023.
