BASHCMA is to commence enrollment of civil servants.

The Bauchi State Health Contributory Management Agency BASHCMA say it will commence the enrolment of the state civil servants in to the Formal component of the scheme from
November this year.
The Formal Component is one of the health insurance programme, designed by the agency to incorporate the state civil servants in to the scheme for effective and affordable health care services.
Executive Secretary of the agency Doctor Mansu Mustapha Dada made the disclosure when he led the management on an advocacy visit to the Emirs of Bauchi and local government secretariat.
He said governor Bala muhammed has approved for the enrollment and deduction of two percent out of the state workers salary for them to benefit from the scheme.
The executive secretary explained that by next year January the state workforce will begin to accesses the health services at the health facilities of their choice, hence the need for them to avail themselves the opportunity.
Dr Mansur Mustapha used the session to solicited the support of stakeholders in the course of their advocacy across the state .
In their separate remarks,the Emir of Bauchi Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu and the caretaker chairman Bauchi local government Abdulmutallib Abba Mahmood. thanked them for the visit and promised assist them in educating the people on the importance of the scheme.
